We're not so sure why this has become such a common phrase, and honestly, sometimes it's almost like the customer says it as an automatic response without ever considering whether they like the piece or not. Sure, we know the "thought" behind it, but most of the time it is a non-factor.
Ways to style
1. Wear it by itself with shorts or pants. If the fit and colors are right for you, do it.
2. Wear it as an undershirt where jus the top peaks through. It'll give a little bit of character to the total look.
3. Wear it under an unbuttoned short sleeve or an unbuttoned long sleeve with the sleeves rolled up.
